It has been a while, but I have finally updated the Player Activity Charts.

I have calculated the concurrency numbers through January 2010 provided by the CensusPlus UI Addon.



The continued decline, with the boost around the Christmas holidays is pretty much as expected going by previous annual trends. I doubt we'll see much deviation from prior annual reporting until something major such as a new viable MMO release, or when the Cataclysm expansion is released.

We continue to be light on submissions for several realms so help is greatly appreciated! Even 1 person can make a significant contribution, and all help is appreciated. To see if your realms is one of the less covered, check out the Most Wanted page!

And of course, just by submitting, you can win great prizes such as Amazon gift certificates! It's easy to do, it helps the site and it can be profitable to you! So help by submitting data today!

 

Okay, so why am I calling it Ninja? Because I didn't actually change the revision number on CensusPlus.

This minor update updates the TOC and also adds a couple of small fixes.

As many of the regulars and forum trollers are aware, I've been completely snowed under since around August. Months came and went and I never got another drawing done. Well, that all changes tonight!

The drawing I did for tonight is for months August - January. I have drawn 5 numbers and will give away a $100 Amazon gift certificate to each winner.

The numbers are fairly unsurprising for the past couple of months. We continue to see a decline in player activity, which is to be expected until the next major content patch, at which point we should see at least a small uptick before resuming a gradual decline.

Wow, what a slack I am. I have not done a drawing in 3 months, that's a first!

Sooo, I finally did get around to doing a drawing. An unprecedented triple drawing! I've drawn 6 numbers and will give away a $75 Amazon gift cerfiticate to each winner.

Now, I already know who the winners are, and in fact we have a winner from the past drawing in this month's winner list as well. Typically I do not allow people to win in back to back drawings, but that's when I was doing them monthly. Since I've slacked and not gotten the drawings done in the past 2 months, I am going to waive it at this time and anytime when I don't get a drawing done in each month. At least until noted otherwise!
