For two years now Penny Arcade has set up and organized a charity called Child's Play. From their site:

"We set it up because we were angry the media decided to blame all the world's problems on games and gamers. Basically they said that gamers were bad people, and we thought that wasn't right. Apparently, you guys agreed: through Child's Play you sent nearly a million dollars in toys, games, and cash to the sick kids in Children's Hospitals around the nation."

As such, I am setting a goal for donations from WarcraftRealms.com visitors of $1000. I think this is an achievable goal, and who knows, maybe you'll all surprise me and we'll blow that number out of the water.

In addition, I will match the first $250 donated to the cause!

So basically, I am asking for donations. All donations made will go directly to the Child's Play charity. I am asking you to give what you can and make the donation through WarcraftRealms.com so that we can make a great contribution to the cause. Not only that, but by donating here, you'll make your donation eligible for matching which can effectively double your contribution!
