Updating Steam stopped the crashing, I can upload fine now.

- Yes, I'm logged in and waiting for 10 minutes for the upload page to load on IE or Chrome, while Opera loads it fast but crashes when I press Choose File...

- Yes I followed the path directly, but it takes ages just to get that far. I managed to upload now as DolanDuk on Chrome but it took over 10 minutes from pressing Login to Version check complete.

- It's 1,7 MB, though the incredibly slow loading and crashing must be due to something else since it happens before I even get to choose the file. I haven't had this on any other site, and Opera doesn't have it either.

Well no WR updates are recorded for you.. so time for questions.

When you attempt to submit data directly to the website are you logging in first?
it will show your userid DolanDuk just above line where you browse to your datafile.

Note the website and the forums are two separate login areas.. logging into one does not mean you are logged into the other.

Next .. when you select your CensusPlus.lua file .. are you sure it is the right one?
Unfortunately the program initialization file and the data file have the same name, but they do live in different directories. (It is a WoW feature/limitation.)

Next .. I would suggest using windows explorer or favorite directory tool to examine your CensusPlus.lua file before you run a census+ session and after you exit your character (or exit WoW completely) the file should grow by a large number of bytes for each character you find while running the census.

Assuming you do have the correct file.. that last question is how big is it? If it is over approximately 10MB then the web upload process will choke.

For files larger then 10MB you need to use the UniUploader as noted at the bottom of the upload page,
or
run a Census /prune xx - - where xx is number of days of census to keep default is 30 days
log out your WoW character and check the file size... repeat process with xx-1 days until you are under 10MB and the submission should upload without problem

If you wish to continue submitting data directly via the website, then I suggest that you do a /prune back to the day before the last time you were successful in uploading data before running your census for the day. Keeping the data file around 5 - 7 MB's gives you headroom for new census data.

You may also want to just do a Census /purge Once before your census+ runs. This will keep your Census data file as small as possible insuring fast uploads, but means you won't have data for your local display.

OK this is strange. Opera crashes when I try to upload, IE and Chrome take minutes to load the page and process the file, if they do at all.

Nvm, was just Opera crashing upon pressing 'Upload', IE works fine.
