|
|
| Okay, so, in census+, when you click a race, all the classes that don?t match with it disappear, and the levels modify themselves. Same thing with class, like a druid doesn?t apply to humans, and there are only 637 level 1 druids, so why not do the same with guilds? There are at the VERY least 300 guild on most if not all servers, how about some guilds disappear also, especially the one with only 1 person in them? TY:-D |

Historical data. This site is geared towards keeping a record of what happened in the past and what is currently happening with the players, guilds, classes, races, etc....
They aren't going away that easily =P _________________

I think he means getting it to only show guilds with relevant people in when you select a particular race or class in the mod. For example, if I'm looking at the lvl 70 draenei priests on my server (of which there are only three), it currently still shows all guilds in the guilds window - this suggestion would have it so that only the guilds containing those three people would show.
Good idea IMO, I've been thinking that myself, although it might not be the easiest to code, I dunno. _________________ EU-Draenor:

Honestly, when I read this, I was thinking to myself, 'Doesn't it already do that?'
I'll have to look into what needs to be updated to get that result. |

I'd really like this too. My guild is pretty low down the chain when all races are included, but I bet we'd move up quite a few places if only the dwarf and gnome numbers were considered.
Another use would be when you don't remember someone's name or guild, but you do remember they were something rare (like a dwarf rogue!). By narrowing down the list to only guilds that had dwarf rogues in them, you'd stand a better chance of seeing the guildname you forgot.
(Or, you could, y'know, change the Character search on the web site to allow wildcards in names again, as long as other search criteria e.g. realm, race, class was also picked *hint* *hint*) _________________

/wave Don't think I've ever seen a female dwarf rogue; I plan to make one if I ever get round to opening a second account, just for the novelty value _________________ EU-Draenor:

Now, my rpbelm is a horrible lack of pateince, so can we get at lsat a VERY vague estimate of when this will be done? A new patch is out and this would be an ample opportunity to implement this as well as update the rpogram. |

I'm the new dev around here, but here is my guestimate:
It'll be done when it is done. The code works well as is, so fine tuning of that script is low on the list. Keep in mind that we aren't full time coders of WR.
That being said, it is a good idea and it has been added to this ever growing list of good ideas our community has given us. Be patient grasshopper. _________________
