|
|
Symptoms:
* /who window not closing after search. If closed manually, it will reopen on the next search.
* The "Processing xx characters" line does not appear in chat after the "Sending" line. It will continue to send the searches all the way down to level one, and the "Finished" note will read "Found 0 new characters and saw 0."
Both errors stop occurring upon disabling WIM. No .lua errors were reported, just the bad behavior.
Ideas appreciated. I like helping to keep the census up to date, but if forced to choose between these two addons, sadly I will have to choose WIM. |

Nice catch on the symptoms. I've got the same thing and was able to replicate your workaround (disabling WIM) to get a valid Census+ result (i.e. "Found XX new..." where XX =/= 0). Pre-WoW 4.0.1 both worked fine together.
I use Addon Control Panel to quickly enable/disable addons and it came in handy testing this out. I'll use this method to snag a Census Survey when I have the time (it's easy on a bank alt) but I'd like to see a better solution to this as well. |

I also have the same issue - latest version of WIM and Census. No error messages apparent other than the odd behaviour from Census |

Thanks a lot for this. I downloaded it 3-4 days ago, and it's been working flawlessly.
Do we know when the new real version is going to push? Before or after Tuesday? |
