MKombat - Mortal Kombat sound mod

Essentially a sound only mod that plays varios sound and music clips from the Mortal Kombat arcade fighter game during PVP encounters.

It currently primarily works for PVP, but I may add in options for PVE and futher customizations in the future.

It's just a fun little mod so let me know what you think!

Adds a new mindset to the game, I strive to live out a day where I dont hear "You are Pathetic" etc ringing in my ears lol.

original idea and very enjoyable to use.

There is one bad thing about this mod... I like hearing "FLAWLESS VICTORY" too much and it's so very tempting to 1 shot those poor 20 somethings I come across.

Just unzip the contents of the file into your /World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns directory. Nothing else needs to be done other than starting the game and enjoying some PVP action!

The only thing that needs to be updated is the Interface Version number in the .toc file. Change it to 1300 and you should be fine. I ran an updated version last night and it was working fine for me.

I have plans to add in PVE support but it'll be a little while before I can make the time. You are welcome to modify the mod to suit your own needs for now though!

But since the mod doesnt sound to me like it's using a lot (or any) localized texts, it will probably work. (just a guess)

I want to send you the changes (because i love this addon), and they only problem is when it doesn't stop the music (with my little change it does now xD).

is it possible for that mode to count up the combo points alloud?
would be nice not to have to look up during pvp fight
because of the konstant jumping to avoid hits and so on...

Ed- Please send those changes over and I'll add it in as an option for the next version!

Guest - You could make the mod count out combo points. You'd just need to get the sound bites and have them play out when the combo points equaled the count.
