"Who" Window Opens After A Scan...Resolved?

I don't recall any of the titan mods I used to use awhile ago making social window changes, but it's been awhile so they might have changed it.

As a side note...

If you want the same kind of information as Titan but with much less memory usage and a lot less bloat, check out fubar. Beats the pants off titan.

I remember the original bongos when you shape shifted it changed bars automaticly....it didn't do it and I don't have the patience to try and figure it out so I just decided not to use it Wink

Something I noticed last night is that when I have my social window open to the Guild tab, and then click the 'X' to close it, I get another, empty window appearing right behind the one I just closed. So something is modifying the guild view (and not the other social views) in some way.

(I am in the group that gets the window popping up only if the Guild tab was selected when I last opened the Social window manually.)

When I get home, I'll take a further look at it, and also post my mod list. I have the core Titan mods, and Cartographer for sure.

Yes...I loved the idea of this add on...but can't stand the who window pop up...any updates?

I need to try out Cartographer I guess. The MailMod problem seems very minor in my opinion.

I upgraded to the new version, haven't seen it happen since. Plus now the spam is cut dramatically and Spam Sentry is pretty much outdated.

I gave it a shot...have had it running for about 12 hours now.....and not a single "Who" window pop up...and the override system is working perfectly....Bravo!!!!!

Could be that Blizz changed another something with the latest patch, or those Addons also updated something, since I haven't changed anything with C+ in regards to this.

With me it still happens. I have the idea it only pops up when you open the 'social window' while C+ is scanning.
A plus is that when you click on a different tab, then in which it opens, and then close it. the popup won't come again. So its less annoying than it was.
I don't use CTmail. I do use Cartographer, but only since a few weeks and the problem also occured before I used Cartographer. I once used Spamsentry, but don't since a pretty long time. So that's also not the one which causes it I think.
So I don't think there are changes somewhere.
The only thing that makes it better is the workaround Smile

I'm using a lot of addons, including Cartographer, SpamSentry and several ACE's.

If I disable SpamSentry, Census+ doesn't complain about ACE WhoLib and the problem is gone!

It seems SpamSentry is the problem with Census+

I dont use Spam Sentry but I do use Cartographer and there is the issue with the Social Pane popping up all the time until I click on Friends or Guild tab and let it update that tab then close it and it does go away for that session only.

I'm using the Cartographer, always the latest version (Ace Updater), since I have disabled SpamSentry, the social window never has opened...

Really no need for spam add on's anymore...spam has depleted numerously since they cracked down on them....

This fix could have been imposed due to the fact that I'm in a guild now and usually close social window with my guild screen up....so Isaura might be right...

I'm updating through the ace updater myself, I am running cartographer, and I get the guild pane opening up during a census if that was the last pane viewed out of the various options in the social window.

I do think this was a change made on Blizzard's end that has provoked this new behavior from these other mods.
