Rollie,
1) Is there anyway to "mute" the /who requests from the main chat window? The whole process doesn't take but 30 seconds to collect the data, however it still pushes stuff I was reading way out of sight.
2) The minimap button doesn't appear to be working. I checked to have it show up and it never did.
A suggestion (or two):
1) Can you seperate the Warhammer Census from the CensusPlus in this forum? Would really help when searching for known issues.
2) Is there any way to add the users timezone to the census? All WAR servers are in Virginia so all server times are EST, it would be nice to know where the majority of players are from by server.

A few things.
1 - There is no way to mute the output from who results =( A workaround is to create a whole new chat frame to use to filter out the results, but to be perfectly honest, is more effort that I have been able to do so far =/
2 - Yeah, there is no minimap button for WAR =x
3 - A separate forum is not a bad idea. I'm still battling with thoughts of a completely separate site for WAR.
4 - Unfortunately there is very limited time information available to UIs in WAR. This is a pretty big limitation and I keep hoping eventually they will fix this.
WOW was like that as well early on but eventually added in the necessary functionality. |

Thanks for the reply Rollie =)
A subsite or completely new site would be great to see. I know you keep pretty busy so I completely understand not putting too much into the WarHammer side of things. I was really shocked (but glad) to see the Census available already from here.
As for the timezone of players, my thought was something along the line of how the Waaghbar uses the players own time to show time in the bar. Maybe you could check out how they are pulling the time and kind of cross reference it to the server time to get the +/- GMT. Just an idea though. _________________ GET INVOLVED TODAY!

| Yeah, you can get local PC time, but getting a universal server time is not currently available that I'm aware of =( |

Since all servers are EST... the question I guess would be whether or not you can pull the +/- GMT data from the local PC time. If that is possible, then it may work. Just an idea for ya.

This suggestion has nothing to do with knowing what time zone the server is. That is pretty easy to determine especially since there all EST. The whole point of the suggestion is so players can make an educated decision as to which server they choose to play on based on the locations of other players.
I live in the PST (GMT -8 or -7 depending on DST) time zone. If I am on a server that is predominantly EST (GMT -5 or -4 depending on DST) players, then I miss the prime time. So knowing what time zone the majority of the players are in helps anyone in choosing a server that will best fit there play times.
Next time please read the suggestion AND understand it before replying that it would not work. _________________ GET INVOLVED TODAY!
